Frog Wallace of Frog’s Buckshop recently shared a couple of video encounters he had with black bears on his river hog club. They were great footage and I thought I would share them here on my Website.
The first video he filmed as he was walking in a hog hunt. The bear got less than 5 feet from his location. I would have run or something.
The second video really amazed me. It consists of a bear up a tree gathering acorns. I have seen squirrels do this many time, but not a 200 pound bear. Really good video, and the way he comes down the tree when he is done – well, you have to see it for yourself.
